NANGLE, District Judge.

Currently before the Court is defendant United States of America's Motion for Summary Judgment. For the reasons described below, the United States' motion will be granted.

FACTS

On August 13, 1990, plaintiff Willie L. Davis was accidentally injured while employed by Southeastern Atlantic Cargo Operators (SEACO), a stevedoring company, as a longshoreman aboard the M/V BELLATRIX.
