JACOBS, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency of $26,840.101 in petitioner's 1989 Federal income tax and an addition to tax of $2,715.52 pursuant to section 6662 for that year. All section references are to the Internal Revenue Code in effect for the year in issue. All Rule references are to the Tax Court Rules of Practice and Procedure.
