Eddie B. Robinson was charged with and convicted of first-degree intentional homicide while using a dangerous weapon, and as a repeat offender. Robinson appeals from an order denying postconviction relief and argues that his trial counsel was constitutionally ineffective for failing to request a severance of the defendants who were tried jointly for the crime, which resulted in an unfair trial.
