OPINION

DONALD RUSSELL, Circuit Judge:

Plaintiffs in this consolidated appeal are 116 women who filed products liability actions against defendant G.D. Searle & Company ("Searle") in the District of Maryland from 1987-1991 alleging that they were injured by the Cu-7 intrauterine device manufactured by Searle. The district court granted Searle's motion to dismiss these actions for lack of personal jurisdiction 783 F.Supp. 233
