Clara Pack brought an action under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, alleging that her employer, the Department of the Army, had discriminated against her due to her race and religion. The investigating agency of the United States Army Finance and Accounting Center ("USAFAC") accepted part of her complaint for investigation, but dismissed two of her claims due to lack of specificity.
