On June 8, 1990, the Resolution Trust Corporation ["RTC"] was appointed receiver for Hometown Federal Savings Bank ["Hometown"]. See 12 U.S.C. § 1821. In that capacity, RTC has brought this action, alleging ten counts against various defendants, all either former Hometown directors or counsel to Hometown's former board of directors. The matter is now before the court upon certain of these defendants...
