Each of these eight cases involves a Polish alien who seeks review of a decision of the Board of Immigration Appeals. In each case, the BIA affirmed the immigration judge's denial of the alien's application for asylum, under 8 U.S.C. § 1158(a), and for withholding of deportation, under 8 U.S.C. § 1253(h).
