Pursuant to section 3-114.1 of the Illinois Pension code (Ill.Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 108½, par. 3-114.1), the plaintiff, Paul Polk, requested a line-of-duty, or 65%, pension from one defendant, the Board of Trustees of the Police Pension Fund of the City of Park Ridge (the Board). After a hearing, the Board denied his request, but granted Polk a 50% non-duty pension. Polk filed a complaint for administrative review...
