Jimmie D. Beard appeals from his conviction of making false statements to a financial institution in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1014 (Supp. III 1991). Beard argues that there was insufficient evidence for conviction and that the district court1 erred in denying his motion for acquittal. We affirm.
