Following a bench trial in the circuit court of Boone County, defendant, Alan Wych was convicted of a single count of criminal sexual assault (720 ILCS 5/12-13 (West 1992)) and was sentenced to a four-year term of imprisonment. Defendant appeals, contending that the State failed to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress certain statements he made...
