On September 11, 1992, Defendant was arrested by agents of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g). Upon arrest, Defendant was taken into custody and thereafter admitted that the firearm was his, that he knew he was a convicted felon and he knew he was prohibited from possessing the gun.
