OPINION

BENCH, Judge:

Defendant challenges the trial court's denial of his motion to dismiss based upon his right to a speedy trial. We affirm.

FACTS

In July 1991, defendant was charged with aggravated assault for acts committed in June 1991. Thereafter, defendant was arrested and imprisoned because these alleged acts violated his probation on a previous conviction. On September 19, 1991, defendant signed a Notice and Request for Disposition...
