Appellant, Alvin Louis Marshall, was charged with numerous criminal offenses in fourteen cases in Escambia County, Florida, committed during the period from December 1987 to December 1990. He pled nolo contendere to those charges, was adjudicated guilty and received enhanced sentences as an habitual felony offender.
