In June 1989, the Mississippi Commission on Environmental Quality (Commission) issued an Order requiring the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors (Board) to bring its sanitary landfill into compliance with the closure requirements of the Mississippi Nonhazardous Waste Regulations.
