LANSING, Judge.

Rob Lee Mitchell appeals from his convictions and sentences for attempted murder in the first degree and for robbery. He contends that the convictions should be set aside because he was deprived of effective assistance of counsel and, alternatively, that his sentences are excessive. We affirm the judgments of conviction and the sentences.
