Defendant, Joe Lee White, was convicted of home invasion (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-11(a)(2)), robbery (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, pars. 18-1(a), (b)), and aggravated battery (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-4(b)(10)).
