Before the Court are Bobby A. Davis and Rodney Lee Tipton who appeal as a matter of right, pursuant to Rule 3(b), Tenn. R.App.P. Both appellants stand convicted by the Blount County Criminal Court of aggravated rape and aggravated robbery. As to the former charge, both appellants were sentenced to 25 years in the Department of Correction; as to the latter, both received an additional eight years.
