The defendant, Merrill Jacobs, was charged in the Circuit Court of Randolph County, Missouri, with two counts of the sale of cocaine, § 195.211, RSMo Supp.1990, and one count of the sale of marijuana, § 195.211, RSMo Supp.1990. The jury found the defendant guilty and the court sentenced the defendant as a class X offender to thirty years imprisonment for each count of the sale of cocaine and fifteen years imprisonment on the sale...
