Frank Daniels won a judgment against Pipefitters' Local Union No. 597 (the "Union") for racial discrimination. In the course of settlement proceedings in another case, one of Daniels' witnesses told the Union that he would say that he had perjured himself at the trial. The Union then filed a Rule 60(b)(2) motion for a new trial (Fed.R.Civ.P. 60(b)(2)). At the hearing on the Rule 60(b)(2) motion the witness who had allegedly committed...
