In 1934, J. Lamar Burford, Sr. founded the company that became Burford Equipment Company ("Burford Equipment"), one of the defendants in this case.1 Mr. Burford, Sr. died in 1971 and his son, J. Lamar Burford, Jr. also a defendant, took over the business. Burford, Inc., also a defendant, was incorporated in 1985 and owns 100% of Burford Equipment...
