DiAnn Adams went to Dr. Krueger's office for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment. She was initially examined by Krueger's nurse-practitioner, Leila Parker. Parker diagnosed DiAnn as having genital herpes. Krueger later prescribed an ointment to help relieve the symptoms of genital herpes.
