This is an appeal from a conviction and sentence for first-degree murder. The appellant was charged in the shooting death of her boyfriend. At trial, she claimed self-defense and sought to introduce the expert testimony of Dr. Harry Krop on the battered woman's syndrome and its applicability to her case.
