Defendant, Shelby Harris, waived a jury trial and was convicted by the trial court of murder in the second degree, in violation of § 565.021.1 RSMo 1986, and armed criminal action, in violation of § 571.015.1 RSMo 1986. The trial court sentenced defendant to twelve year prison terms for each of the two offenses, to run concurrently.
