On February 28, 1991, plaintiffs-appellants James and Sheila Wallenius entered into a contract to purchase a house located at 14707 South Sunset Court, Oak Forest, Illinois for $122,500. Francisco and Darwisa Sison were the sellers. The Walleniuses made a downpayment of $15,000 and financed the balance with a mortgage loan from coplaintiff James F. Messenger & Co., Inc. (Messenger) in the amount of $108,500.<...
