Defendant, Farmers Insurance Company, appeals from judgments based upon jury verdicts in favor of Robert Thornburg ($135,000 for personal injuries) and his wife, Jean Thornburg ($9,000 for loss of consortium). The Thornburgs brought suit under the uninsured motorist coverage in their Farmers policy for Robert's injuries, which had been caused by the alleged negligence...
