A defendant employer appeals from a trial court judgment that held it vicariously liable for damages caused by its employee in a two-vehicle collision. Our review of the record reveals that the trial court erred in concluding this case was an exception to the general rule that an employer is not vicariously liable for the torts of its employee while the employee is traveling to work.
