Defendant, Michael Robertson, was charged by bill of information with simple arson with damage less than $500, a violation of La.R.S. 14:52. He pled not guilty. After trial by jury, defendant was found guilty as charged. Thereafter, the State filed a habitual offender bill of information; and, after a hearing, defendant was adjudicated a fourth felony habitual offender.
