In this worker's compensation (w.c.) action for death benefits, the employer appeals a judgment in favor of the widow of the deceased truck driver-employee who died of a heart attack on January 14, 1990, when he stopped at a truck stop while on a trip for his employer.

The w.c. law in effect on the date of death is the applicable law in this instance. Hill v. L.J. Earnest, Inc.,
