Charles and Peggy Eastland (defendants) were convicted of two counts each of aggravated kidnapping and deviate sexual assault, and one count of rape stemming from events occurring between February 3 to February 15, 1984.1 Charles Eastland (Charles) was sentenced to concurrent terms of 60 years' imprisonment for rape and each of two counts of deviate sexual assault, and a 15-year term...
