In early June 1986, Alamo Rent-a-Car ("Alamo") rented a motor vehicle to Marvin Hill ("Hill"), an employee of Defendant ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, INC. ("ESI"). On or about June 8, 1986, Hill, while negligently driving the rented vehicle in Indian River County, was involved in an accident with Byron Sickman ("Sickman"), who suffered personal injuries.
