LeBLANC, Judge.

Eric "Bo" Harris was indicted with second degree murder, a violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1(A)(1). He pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, was convicted as charged. The court sentenced defendant to serve a term of life imprisonment at hard labor, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
