Don Terry Wisinger was indicted with first degree murder, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30. He pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, was convicted as charged. The jury recommended that a penalty of life imprisonment be imposed. The trial court sentenced defendant to serve a term of life imprisonment at hard labor, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
