Keith Vigil (Vigil) appeals his conviction for involuntary manslaughter following the death of a nineteen-month-old infant in his care. Although Vigil raises a number of issues, our primary focus involves one obsolete jury instruction as derived from the Wyoming Pattern Jury Instructions-Criminal as published in 1978.
