Defendant, Joseph E. Scott, was charged by bill of information with attempted armed robbery, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27 and 14:64. Under a plea bargain, he entered a plea of guilty in exchange for the state's agreement not to charge him as a habitual felony offender and to dismiss an unrelated burglary charge.
