Petitioner, Clarence McKinney, seeks a writ of prohibition pursuant to rule 3.191, Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure, on grounds that his right to speedy trial was violated and that he is entitled to be discharged on the criminal charges pending against him in circuit court.
