This is an appeal from convictions for rape and attempted murder, which resulted in sentences of life imprisonment for rape and twenty-five years for attempted murder. The appellant, Kenneth Ryan Hollamon, appeals on the basis that he was denied equal protection of the laws due to a racially-motivated peremptory challenge by the prosecutor. He further urges that he is deaf and that the circuit court erred in failing to suppress his incriminating statement...
