This is a bad faith insurance case. Appellees, Bessie Crowe and her minor son, John Louis, filed this suit alleging that appellant, Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company (Nationwide) was negligent and breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing in failing to pay workers compensation death benefits.
