Appellant Kirk Douglas Gilbert was charged by indictment with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 31.07 (Vernon 1989). On May 2, 1991, appellant entered into a plea bargain agreement and plead guilty to the charge.
