Appellant, Michael Mims, once again appeals sentences by the Second Judicial District Court on convictions of distribution of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, which were imposed on January 5, 1993. On the distribution charge, Mims was sentenced as a habitual offender to nine years at hard labor and a fine of $15,000. An additional year was assessed in default of payment of the fine.
