This is an appeal from a summary judgment granted in favor of appellee, St. Joseph Hospital Foundation (the Hospital).

Appellant alleged Encarnation Jaime contracted Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) from a blood transfusion she received at the Hospital in December of 1982, prior to surgery there. Jaime was admitted on December 7, 1982 for the delivery of her first child...
