The arbitrator awarded claimant Joseph Levkovitz temporary total disability (TTD) benefits for 32 weeks, medical expenses and permanent partial disability (PPD) to the extent of 8% of the man as a whole pursuant to section 8(d)(2) of the Workers' Compensation Act (Act) (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 48, par. 138.8(d)(2)).
