Brenda Johnson appeals from the order of the circuit court of Champaign County, adjudicating her daughter, J.J., a dependent minor. (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 37, par. 802-4(1)(b).) Johnson argues J.J. could not be a dependent minor within the definition of the statute, because J.J. was never in the care of Johnson.
