Appellant, Frank R. Curington, was tried by a jury and convicted of second-degree murder while armed in violation of D.C.Code §§ 22-2403, -3202 (1989) in the shooting death of Dilante Troy Cliette. He was also found guilty of possession of a firearm during a crime of violence or dangerous offense in violation of D.C.Code § 22-3204(b) (1992 Supp.) and of carrying a pistol without a license in violation of D.C.Code § 22...
