Following a jury trial, defendant Stanley Kirkman was found guilty of armed robbery and sentenced to 13 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. He now appeals alleging that reversible error occurred due both to the admission of improper rebuttal testimony and the introduction of evidence concerning his gang affiliation.
