As a result of a jury trial in the district court for Douglas County, Steave Baltimore was convicted on separate counts of possessing a controlled substance, Ritalin (methylphenidate hydrochloride) and Talwin (pentazocine), with the intent to distribute, deliver, or dispense the substances, contrary to Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-416(1)(a) (Reissue 1989) of the Nebraska Criminal Code.
