Our journey in this case began during the 1989 monsoon season in Visakhapatnam, India. Jollister Shipping Corporation S.A. ("Jollister") contracted with Associated Metals & Minerals Corporation ("Associated") to carry Associated's cargo of 13,500 metric tons of hot-rolled steel plates aboard the M/V J.
