STATEMENT OF THE CASE:

Defendants, Robert Houghton and Ronald Dickens, were indicted by the grand jury. Their trials were severed. They were charged in counts 1, 2, 8, and 9 with aggravated kidnapping, in Counts 3, 4, 10, 11 and 13 with armed robbery, in Counts 5 and 12 with aggravated rape, and in Count 6 with aggravated crime against nature.1 The defendant pled not guilty to all twelve counts but a twelve-person...
