This appeal presents a dispute between parties to an oil and gas unit operating agreement regarding the interests each holds in a 640-acre drilling unit and when those interests vested. The district court granted defendants' motion for summary judgment finding no genuine issues of material fact and, as a matter of law, plaintiffs did not have a vested interest in certain farmout acreage.
