Ralph John Schaefer ("Schaefer") appeals from the judgment of the trial court after a jury found him guilty of forcible rape, in violation of Section 566.030 RSMo. 1986, and felonious restraint, in violation of Section 565.120 RSMo.1986. The court sentenced Schaefer as a prior and persistent offender to life imprisonment for the rape, and a consecutive fifteen year term of imprisonment for felonious restraint...
