On the application of the State of Louisiana we grant certiorari in order to consider the validity of an order of the trial court granting a motion to suppress a statement made by the defendant, Cecelia Bell on August 31, 1992. Having reviewed the transcript and the brief of the State, we reverse the judgment of the trial court.1
